Charcoal - is a product that is widely used in the modern world as:

 fuel for fireplaces, braziers. unlike simple fuel (for example, firewood), charcoal does not produce smoke and open flames, but provides only the required temperature. You don’t have to wait before cooking your dish, because charcoal is already prepared fuel.

Charcoal is used in non-ferrous metallurgy, (for example, to produce aluminum, boron, etc.); in the production of pure silicon. In production of charcoal there also a by-product like wood resin.

As feed supplement in animal breeding.

In building industry, as insulating material.
